Hi, I am Mahsa. I am PhD student at HealthVisFutures Lab at Carleton University. I have a background in machine learning and have worked as a UI/UX designer.
I also contribute to my community. I volunteer as a webmaster for the IEEE Ottawa section and I volunteer at Perley Health Institution to support older adults in improving their quality of life .
I was selected as the recipient of the Tom Skinner Award in Computer and System Engineering on July 05, 2022.
My long term goal is developing technologies to meet the needs of older adults when caring for their health. My research interests include:
